Be Well Club Spring 2025
Be Well Club will explore the basics of healthy habits that contribute to life-long health. The idea of using real food to nourish one’s body will be emphasized, including a nutritious and nut-free snack each week!
Topics will include “food” (nutrition), movement (exercise), sleep, managing emotions (stress management), and building friendships (positive social connections). Students will interact with (and EAT!) fresh fruits and veggies, look at nutrition labels, discuss the importance of sleep, perform yoga, spend time building relationships, and more.
Snacks will include items such as fruits, veggies, beans, and seeds, along with other possibilities, as well as a taste test of a healthier version of a classic treat. Snacks will vary week to week, and will be influenced by the availability of produce. Please let me know of any allergies, dietary restrictions, or concerns about your child consuming the snacks provided for this club!
