Young Filmmakers (Grades 3–4) — 2025–2026
From script to premiere! Students rotate through every role—screenwriter, director, camera, sound, and editor— building technical, interpersonal, and leadership skills. The year ends with a red-carpet debut.
About the Program
Young Filmmakers immerses students in the full filmmaking process across the school year. Each student will experience writing, directing, cinematography, sound, and editing while working collaboratively toward finished short films.
Space is limited — save your spot!
When & Where
Mondays from 3:30–4:30 PM. Students will be brought to the front office for pickup after each session.
Make-ups: Any sessions missed due to school closures will be scheduled after Spring Recess.

Festival: Young Filmmakers / HJMS Film Festival will be held in May 2026.
Tuition & Payment Options
Cost: $500 for the full year or $250 per half-year segment.
Volunteer Waiver: One parent volunteer spot is available and includes a tuition waiver for their child.
